Do you just go by number of tackles? If you did, then he would have been fabulous with the Jets every year he was here. Tackles mean zilch if they are after a minimum 5 yard gain on every play. Notice no sacks or forced fumbles or tackles for loss in his stats.

So what is the worst we get for him? Say he only plays like 10% of the plays - what will we get?

A bag of chips and a six pack. Useful and tasty.

In all actuality he should be better in a 4 -3 situation. Why he is not playing at all is beyond me.

I think the deal was that he had to be in on 65% of the plays. He was kept out of the Tampa Bay game two weeks ago because of knee pain, the same reason nobody wanted him.

Not true. I don't think anybody other than Boobway was drooling over him. NE blew a smokescreen of interest and Boobway blinked and gave up 2 number ones for him. I hated the trade at the time. Sorry, but if we trade 2 number ones for a guy he better be Peyton Manning type ability. An undersized DT with a questionable knee is not the guy to pull that sort of deal for.

I liked some of Boobway's later picks much better than his top picks.
