Our playoff push starts today Jet fans! It starts today vs these Bengals! Bills: 4-1- Bye week Pats: 3-1- Chargers (Lets go SD!) Jets: 2-2- Bengals (J-E-T-S, Jets Jets JEts!) Phins: 2-2- Texans (Lets go Houston!) Last weeks bye week was huge for Favre and the Jets offense... With a healthy Favre, I look for this Jets offense to score with the best of em. Lets go out and dominate the Benglas! 3-2, here we come! Our rush defense has been amazing with Jenkins in the middle...With last weeks bye week...It's now time to put it all together like we usually do after the bye...It's time for some turnovers and 3 and outs for opposing O's. I would LOVE to see our players play the game the "Right way" Because the fact of the matter is this...With players like Jenkins and Ellis on the D-Line, players such as Pace, Gholston, Harris, Thomas and Barton for our LB's and a young secondary with players like Rhodes, Revis and now Lowery....This defense has talent...It's just we MUST put it all together... We have talent, thats for sure. Players such as Coles, Cotchery, Thomas Jones, Leon Washington, Baker, Keller and even Stuckey.... Favre can work with these guys, he can put up some great #'s with this talent but as we all know...It all starts up front and honestly...With players such as Ferguson, Faneca and Mangold on the offensive line...I look for this Jets rushing attack to lead us into the playoffs because with the threat of Favre to Coles/Cotchery... Thomas Jones and Leon Washington can really make an impact. Time will tell, but our playoff push starts today guys... The Jets vs Bengals! An AFC Game... Lets get back to one game above .500!
If not for poor coaching in the NE game, we would be 3-1 already and be in and even better situation. With that being said, I agree with you, now is the time for our offense and defense to come together and dominate. GO Jets!!!!!
At HOME , No Palmer, We fresh of a bye week, RESTED and healed. We should really lay one on them. GO JETS
7-7 right now, one mistake and it hurt us on offense but with all that said...WOW...Our Offense is looking nice! What a drive by Favre and the Jets!
Looks like the win is all but sealed up. Little bit of sloppy play on offense (such as, why the heck were there so many dump off type play calls in the first half), and yeah favre got picked twice, but the 2nd ball was third and long and he gave the WR a chance to make a play. Still, D stepped up. A wins a win. On to next week.
3-2 Baby! JEts are now on a two game win streak guys...This team CAN make some noise this year, we WILL make some noise here in 08! Hats off to the Jets defense! 4 or 5 sacks? Man...We have some players on this team. Our run Defense has been amazing this year with Jenkins in the middle and man oh man...How about that Calvin Pace guy? I guess we all understand why Miami and Parcells was going after this guy with guns blazing, he's the perfect 3-4 OLB. With or without Palmer, this Bengals Offense has been a great Offense over the years, this Jets D really stepped up and played really good Defense, only allowing one TD all game! Favre may have threw two INT's but this man played an amazing game...We were just moving the football @ will and it was nice to see our rushing attack come alive. Leon Washington is an animal! Coles and Cotchery can catch with the best of em...And our O-Line is starting to play solid football! What a great game, what an important win...Cant wait for the next two games... One game @ a time, but we can be sitting @ 5-2 before we play those Bills! P.S...Miami lost! If SD can take out NE...This will be one h3ll of a Sunday
