Does anyone know the types of jobs that are going to be available at the Jets new training camp and headquarters. I am going to be 17 or 18 years old and I was wondering if there will be any jobs that will be available for a person my age.

Your going to be 17 OR 18?

First of all if the jets hire anybody, you have to know your age.... And sign your name right.

I don't know how old I am going to be because I don't know whether they are going to start next year or the year after. So think a little bit before you post.

Do you read TGG? The stadium should be ready by 2009... It takes about 2 and a half years to build a stadium.

Yankee and mets stadium will be ready in 2009... So maybe you should think about it a little, and read TGG a more often.

i asked a guy a couple of years ago how you become a ball boy..... he said that most of the kids working there know ppl or if you really want you can send in like this letter to the headquarters and some kids have actually gotten hired from that way....

    Hi Jets526,

You've asked a legitimate, easy-to-comprehend question and don't deserve a smartass answer, so kudos to you for sticking up for yourself.

If you're looking for general employment... that is, anything to do with Training Camp, I'd contact the Jets' Employment Office directly by phone as early as this summer or even now. Tell them you're interested in whatever jobs may be available... at your age it may only be something like working on the lunch line or laying sod on the field, but at least you'd get your foot in the door. If you live nearby, that doesn't hurt, and make sure you tell them you have your own transportation to the camp and are willing to work any hours or do anything they require and that you love the team and would like to help. Chances are, you'll get a call.

Doesn't hurt to try. Give em a call. And knowing how old you're going to be would definitely be a plus. Good luck!

Everyone wants to be the next Mangini. Perhaps I should have forgone 4 years of college and washed dirty jock straps since that also results in a million dollar dream job.

Forget the Jets smelly locker room and get a job as a cook at the local Hooters.
