I found a picture of the Titans away jersey on this great new site for NFL fashion. The jets might wearing these next year. At least they look better then the home jerseys http://footballfashionfanatics.blogspot.com/
I agree with you they do look better than the home Jerseys, but that is because I think they used a lighter color of gold than the one currently being used for the Uniforms. But I would not expect a uniform change for the Jets. They only wore the Titans Uniform for two years, that is not the Uniform that is connected to the franchise. However, seeing as Hess does not own the Team anymore there is no real reason to keep the green color either.
It still doesn't look like the Jets. Pretty soon the Jets will have played more games in these unis than the old Titans did. I still say throwback to the Sack Exchange era if you have to do throwbacks, a lot more people I think would remember and like it. Maybe they have a warehouse full of this Titans crap they can't get rid of.
I say wear the Old Titan Jerseys so long as Favre is throwing 5+ TDs per game and were winning with ease...
You don't think he could have done it in green? He's had some good games in green, you know. At least one or two, I think.
The only colors the "Jets" have worn have been green and white. When the Titans were sold, the new owners changed the name the uniform and I think where they played. other than the contract that was drawn up to purchase the team imo there is no connection to the Titans at all. Furthermore as far as I am concerned the Jets are already wearing their throwback uniforms.
Yeah, it's way cooler than the home Titans jersey -- but then, I don't like the Titans jerseys. I'm sticking with the ol' green and white.
thats what the Jets wear now(slightly modified but same style). The current Jets uniforms are my favorite. I think they have one of the best looking uniforms in the league.
Did you see that comment that the Titans Biill Mathis breaks his collarbone in week 3 and goes on to play in all 14 games!! Tough guy any way you look at it.
