Eric Smith have any regrets

    Personally I didnt like the call on the suspensiion and fine. If it was just the two connecting then yes. But with the push in the back from Rhodes I think that altered the whole collision. Just my opinion . I was wondering if Smith expressed any remorse or what his side was.
    I know when JackTatum crippled Stingley he never apologized Always thought he should have at least have called and said something.

    I think they all know it happens in football, but I have heard of players calling others to see how they are doing after a hit like that. Eric is a highly intelligent guy who isn't an asshole. I think he probably talked to Boldin afterwards.

    If by regret, you mean appealing the supension, then yea, he has one..

    The only reason Smith got the smackdown laid on him was because he took out a premier player. What happened to the guy who took out Kevin Everett (returner Domenic Hixon)? I don't remember jack shit happening to him, much less 50k and a 2 game suspension. This isn't anti-Jets conspiracy, this is just a big time player taking the hit as opposed to a no name ST player.
