Normally in the NFL the only easy wins are some of the unexpected blowouts. Never assume the shitty teams will just roll over for you. The Bengals took the Giants to OT and played great at Dallas. Definitely not an easy game coming up. Personally I think the Jets' defense has a lot of holes in it so they're gonna need to put up over 30 points to win.

By Cincy losing today, it will be tougher for us next week. They don't have the greatest D, so we need to exploit it as much as possible. However, because they are winless, their defenders will be hungry and will play tough.

The Jets need to come out hard and play 60 mins, unlike the Arizona game.

Just because Cincy has not won a game does not make this easy.

Well Jets always keep it interesting even with what looks to be blow outs. I think Bengals will make it even more interesting this week, they should not be underestimated. Especially because they haven't won a game yet, they have weapons and now will be ready to do about anything for a win. If our D turns the corner like they usually do after a BYE with Mangini I think we squeak this one out.

Very good to see Cincy nearly win today and give all of their effort for this week because they usually have a bad game after they play a hard game. Same thing happened this year after their OT loss vs NYG where they were shut down by a really putrid Browns team(Score was "close" because the Browns didnt even want to win the game........Their offense is messy)

Had Cincy been blown out by Dallas, then I would be SCARED of this game but because the Bengals gave it their all vs the Jets, their balloons will be inflated a bit as they head up north for a bit of a trip. They just want to get to their BYE week as soon as they can, thats all. Pretty much like the Jets of last year in a way.

Good point; once you are marked as a fumbler; everyone picks on you and usually you end up coughing it up some more.

I disagree, they looked like they were getting momentum and feeling good about themselves, then fell apart at the end.

It's probably for the ebst that we face an offensive powerhouse (potential powerhouse at least) the game AFTER the Cards almost came back on us. Hopefully it will be fresh in their minds and help us keep the pedal down. I think if we play sound, though, the Bengals will destruct in the end, they just aren't a mentally tough team.

The Cowboys are the most overrated team since the 9ers signed Clement and were talked up to be a contender.

Their Defense is average at best, their Front 7 is solid but their Backfield is pretty bad. The Palmer from the last few seasons would have completely torched them. The Bungals are on the best way to throw away a elite QB. Anyone saw that dump off to Perry where he threw the ball about 2 yards over his head on a 5 yard pass? I can?t belive this is the same guy that I said is a better QB than Tom Brady, just 13 Months ago.

The Bungals still can make plays, but you gotta help them a lot before they do so. Palmer doesn?t have any confidence in his OL. Don?t let him get confident. Ocho Cinco looks slow and unmotivated, I trust Lowery to keep him in check, let him have his 3-4 catches for 40-50 yards. T.J. Housh still is one of the best WRs in this League, give Revis some help. If our Front 7 plays anything close to the Cards or Phins game, their Runninggame won?t do anything.

Their D is pretty bad, we should be able to do anything we want, if we play solid Football.

I?m not scared at all by that team, as long as we don?t give Palmer time to get into a rythem.

arizona has a better offense then them. better WR's , Palmer is having a shitty year, Warner is playing better right now. Bengals have no RB. Their defense is a joke.

we will have to put up 28-35 to be safe though. but like i said with that bengals defense i think we can do it. i say we help marvin lewis lose his job. cause its already coming.

yea be weary of their 3 wr's but id say the bengals are a cheap imitation of the cards at this point.

I can't decide if Cincy's loss yesterday makes it tougher for us or easier for us this week. On the one hand, maybe the Bengals would be more hungry to finally get a win (much like when we faced SD). On the other hand, SD was only 0-2. At 0-5, the Bengals may have given up on the season already and be really unmotivated to put in the effort.

Pretty tough to gauge the Bengals off the Browns game. Palmer didn't play and the winds were something like 50 mph during the game.

I was hoping the bengals won that game. Teams dont go 0-16 nor even 0-6 often. I wanted them to get their first win before coming to the mlands.

I don't believe that Cinci is a team with the type of character required to pull out of the hole they're in on the road for the second week in a row. Marvin Lewis has shown nothing in the past to make me believe that he will be able overcome the character issues on the team and right the ship in Cinci.

Unless they beat us, there season is as good as gone. Now maybe that's a dangerous situation for the Jets, but as I already said I don't believe they have the character to correct things and pull out a big victory.

Carson Palmer hasn't been the same QB since he had his knee broken in half. There offense has potential, but it's no where near in sync or producing at the level it could.

I can't see the Jets losing this game. They should win by 2 scores and control the game.

While I agree the Cincy defense is average overall, they've been quite good against the pass. They're #6 in passing D. Even if you argue that teams have gone away from the pass due to an ability to run all day long, they're 8th in yards per attempt on D, so clearly their success is due to an undervalued secondary. The one thing they haven't been able to do is pressure the QB. They only have 3 sacks on the year. That'll be a big help. No pressure on Favre means no mistakes from rushing the throw.
