not wishing injury on anyone. im still finding it hard to see the dolphins challenging for the division this year. at this time the pats are not out of anything yet. edwards has a concussion and will probably be back next week. it will take at least 4 more weeks until anyone can say for sure who is a contender in this division.

We ran it 11 times... What big plays? Camarillo's TD. We ran it 11 times, Chargers stopped it for short yardage on about 6 of those. About 5 went medium yardage. None went for big yardage. We had a TD out of it. If you ask me, Chargers did a pretty good job containing it, yet we still won. Also, you won't be able to stop it everytime, especially when we throw in some new personnel and trick plays to the Wildcat.

While I agree with the 4 weeks part. At this point in the season, the Dolphins have just as much a chance to win the division as the Jets do, thats the only point I'm trying to make.

Buffalo has a bye next week too so this won't hurt them that much

I still don't think they're that good. They haven't played anyone yet. Plus, they almost lost to the Raiders, Raiders suck ass.

They may not have played any of the bigwigs yet, but they still beat four of their opponents. Four straight in the NFL is tough enough. Gotta give them credit until one of us beats them.

i haven't seen them play much. All that matters is that they are 2 games up on both the Jets and the Phins at this point

hopefully, the Bills will be like the 2000 Jets

start 4-0 and not make the playoffs

The Colts struggling to win today and the Chargers losing was somewhat surprising.

Maybe we should all refrain from ranking teams till late October after things start to become clearer. Same thing with college football. They shouldn't even have polls in that sport till late October.

    Exactly.

The plates are moving, continents are shifting, the aging are still fighting, and the new class is trying to make it's name.

    Good times.

The Titans D is nasty. I'm still not sold on their O, and their D isn't 2000 Ravens good. Chris Johnson gives them a playmaker yea, but if thats all you've got to show NFL teams will adjust. I really can't buy them as *the* #1 team in the conference, yet.

Should be a good season. Can't wait to see where the Jets end up in all this, cause we've got a shot to be a top team.

The Cowboys/Bengals game that was only for assholes and fans of the teams is turning out to be pretty good.

I feel really bad for Carson Palmer...he's really struggling despite the score...some real TF throws coming from him...he's all messed up right now...

Yeah, if the defense plays better and the coaching picks up, the Jets should be able to compete for the AFC crown.

It is very difficult to run against the Titans because the three inside players of their front seven are extremely tough (DT Haynesworth, DT Brown, and MLB Tulloch). I thought Haynesworth was the best defensive player in the league last year. This year he is playing even better.

It's too early to say they could be like the '02 Bucs or '00 Ravens defenses, but they are very good for sure. Let's see how the Titans fare when they have to go up against the Colts, Packers, Jets, and Steelers.

Haynesworth is a monster. I've been saying he was a top 5 DT for years now...nice to see he got that memo.

The Titans remind me alot of last years Jags. This years Jags are going to be deadly when they start going. They've got some turnover on their D right now, but they'll click soon enough.

We'll start getting a real picture of the AFC after week 8 or so. Maybe even next week, since I don't even know where my team stands in all this right now.

sooooo can I just throw something out there?? I'm seeing this in every thread about the dolphins

"when the wildcat is stopped they are done"

phins had 300+ yards today......49 were in wildcat formation.....

the defense held the nfl's best 35.5 point per game avg team.....to 10 points.....

its not just the "wildcat" fellas

    /end rant

Great points. Not to mention we had 3 new looks of the wildcat today as well. I think that will expand week by week to keep opponents guessing.

we get it the dolphins had a good game. anyone who is ready to declare them contenders for the division is a dolphins fan. 2 good games with the lack of talent on the roster does not mean playoffs.

Does anyone here even watch the games played? Buffalo quite simply had the softest schedule so far this year. Of the 5 teams they've played 4 of them have given up more points then they've scored! Three teams, Oakland, ST.Louis and Seattle are being blown away by their competition. Those three teams have given up 40 more points then they've scored...or more in just the first 5 weeks.

Buffalo then faces one team of the 5 that actually scores when they get the ball and the Bills not only can't stop them, they give up 5 TD's and 3 FG's in their first 8 possessions. The Bills have yet to play a divisonal game while everyone else in the division has played at least 2. I'm sorry guy's but I have no idea what the hell you're watching. The Bills need to win games against teams that are actually beating their competition before I'll believe their worthy of any respect at all. I'm sick of the Bills getting credit for beating teams with losing records. This year is no different, the Bills have yet to beat a team with a winng record. Of the 5 teams the Bills have played 4 teams have a win loss record of just 4-13, the one team they lose to is 3-2. Not exactly the most outstanding results considering the way their scheduled teams have played so far this year.
