I became "annoying" when fans of the AL East couldn't admit that the Rays were the future of the AL East. Just look @ the youth, talent and potential that this Rays team has...And you know whats amazing? Just about EVERY young talent is locked up LONG term! This Rays team will be one of the best teams in baseball for the next 5+ years. I got laughed @, called named and all of the above when I was excited for this Rays team in June and July...I got smashed because the Rays "Lacked the talent and experience" to win in August and September.... I made it KNOWN that this Rays team was a special team here in 2008 and you know what? Fans of the AL East just couldnt admit that I was right.

OK, how about this. I love the Rays. They've been my AL team, so to speak, since the Kazmir trade. I thought they had a chance to be successful this season, and Baseball Prospectus's analysis of the team before the season certainly reinforced that. I think they have a great front office and an outstanding system that's going to make them successful for a long time, and it makes me happy. Now, with all that said, you still act like an obnoxious, ignorant mental midget and the day you either grow the fuck up or just stop posting will be a joyous day for us all. PS- The Angels aren't better than Boston or Tampa. They're going to lose, the ALCS will be Sox/Rays, and it's going to be a competitive and evenly matched series, with Beckett's condition being the main wild card.
Great post, other than the personal attacks on myself :beer: I agree, the Red Sox may be the better overall team when talking about the Angels (Forget the overall record) Because the Angels played in a WEAK AL West divison. For some reason...I just have a feeling the Angels will put tonights game off and if that happens...It's obvious, but the Angels will be one victory away from a game 5 @ home and I would put my $$$ on the Angels in that situation! One game @ a time...But a win tonight by LAA and you know what? I like their chances. As a Rays fan...I would MUCH rather play the Angels over the Red Sox but you know what? I think the Rays match up great against the Sox.
What gives you an inclination that the Angels have a shot? They haven't shown up at the 2 games at their home stadium, why would they suddenly come to life in Boston against one of the best October pitchers in the league?
Beckett still has a lot to prove in his career before I call him one of the best playoff pitchers... And by the way he's pitched this year...I can see him getting beat up tonight @ home
this guy probaly works for the Rays, trying to pick up new fans anyway they can since they play in a pathetic baseball town. I like the team but Tampa/St. Pete isnt a baseball city.
Damn you TBJF, I was rooting for the Rays before I saw this thread, now I can't help but hope they lose their next 3 games.
