I have always...always hated the bye weeks, even they are good for our team. Football sux if Jets aren't playing. Hell, even if the Jets play on Sunday morning, I enjoy MNF. But if the Jets aren't playing, I dont care who wins, be it the playoffs, or regular season. Anyone else think that way or am I the odd one out here?
The Jets playing makes it 20 times more interesting and exciting but there is still stuff to watch as a fan of football and as a fan of the Jets that will give us a better picture of our opponents, so it's not completely horrible to me.
Oh but it is boring when you got Giants/Seahawks and Bengals/Cowboys are the games the NY area get(Unless you got the NFL ticket or what not)
Don't agree with any of the poll options - I love the NFL and still watch on the bye week, but it's nowhere near as exciting as when the Jets are playing.
I basically don't watch football if it ain't the Jets. MNF, playoffs, SB...none of it. I may watch a few minutes here and there, but rarely more than a series or two unless something earth-shattering is happening (like I did watch most of the 4th QUARTER of the NYG beating the pats in SB). I just can't get into it if I'm not into it, and if it ain't the Jets I'm not into it. Of course, this makes me really bad in TGG's football pool!
I'm a Jets fan, but I do love me my football in general. It's pretty much impossible to drag me away from the TV on Sundays.
Sometimes I like the bye week. The Jets stress me out so much..and It's nice to be able to sit back and watch some other games stress free;Especially a week after a big jets win.
Same here. I know that when we have a 1pm game and we lose,i don't enjoy,and some times don't watch the rest of the games.
I think this week is just a bad week for the Jets ti be off. KC vs Carolina just doesn't do it for me. LOL The Jets are off and there are only three games I would even considering watching this week....... that's bad.
YAY! I get to watch the far superior Giants beat up the Seahawks Snooooz. Not even NFL on the radio helps. I may have to cancel "Best of Sirius" on my XM radio. There is no Best of anything on Sirius.
I like football enough to watch the other games and enjoy them too, but not with the emotion of a Jets game.... I can deal with the one week of them being off. Nice grammar in the poll.
