i hope they get rid of the excess kickers on the roster by the cincy game. if nugent isn't ready by then just cut him or put him on ir. if hodges isn't ready cut him too. if we dont like graham find someone else. there are a million guys who can punt out there find one. we dont need 4 kickers on the roster.

pass defense obviously needs to improve. they need to find some type of scheme that gets pressure on third downs. they are giving opposing qbs way to much time to find the check down over the middle on 3rd downs and it is killing them.

I Think after the Bye Week our Offense will be almost fully gelled and the Defense will improve. Especially against the pass , Get more creative on Offense and utilize our weapons and On D hopefully we come out with that everybody standing at the line of scrimmage confusing the bat shit out of the opposing QB. The Running game must improve. Give Leon the ball more! Rushing it!

secondary all day, offense looks promising, the real problem is only 1/2 the team comes to play every week, the defense in the begining of each game looks amazing then the secondary shits the bed in the second half as does the pass rush, its aggrevating

I disagree that our front 7 has been strong. We've been effective against the run with Jenkins in there-- he is the real deal-- but our LBs are a liability unless blitzing the QB. We don't have a single linebacker that's effective in pass coverage or playing in space right now. Each team we've played has exploited this weakness, notably Miami, NE, and SD. Also, outside of Lowry's generally excellent play as a rookie and Revis's strong play in the secondary, our safeties have sucked-- Rhodes included. He is not making impact plays--and IMO is the most over-rated player on the team based on reputation and actual performance so far this season--he seems to get a free pass for some reason.

Rhodes just missed a potential pick 6 on sunday. If that occurs, this talk goes away. I haven't seen Rhodes fuck up yet, he hasn't had a chance to be in a position to make the big play... maybe offenses are staying away from him like the other 3 teams stayed away from Revis, before Arizona.

you're right on target with that analysis. no wonder so many posters here wanted the team to trade up to get run_dmc. mc fadden will give the raiders a much better backfield than the jets. they barely lost at buffalo. the upcoming game at oakland is not a gimme.

I like Rhodes but the linebacking is iffy and is holding the team back. 35 points in one half!!! Not even close.

    Need a power runner bad.

No kidding.Almost 500 yards from Kurt friggin Warner. Beyond embarassing. Although I must say I was pleasantly suprised when Feely got a touchback. Didnt know he had it in him

I vote Special Teams. Punter is giving the opponent good field position, and, well, there is no kicker atm really.

Of course, if Favre wants to keep scoring on 4th downs, I don't think any of us has a problem with that.
