The Interception that Favre threw the Cardinal defender was offsides and the refs missed it. http://www.nfl.com/videos?videoId=09000d5d80b345fe Courtasy of NFL Network's Gameday show with the highlights
It sure looked like he was offsides live and it wasn't close, I know they would have thrown the falg if we were on D but luckily it didn't matter.
Yes, that was very frustrating. Plus the non-Pass Interference call a few plays before too. Luckily they did not get any points off of it.
Officiating seems to be either a little tight or a little out of control this year! Thank god those blown calls didn't amount to anything damaging. there were actually two off sides during that serious; neither were called. Does anyone know what our penalty count was? seems to me we have some well played games with few penalties as compared to the other team.
My thoughts exactly--plus we got a call back on the non-facemask on LW. And there was an early start to their right tackle that did not get called. Wasn't thrilled about the "change" in call from defensive simulating the snap to illegal procedure either and noticed the ref almost calling 2nd and 5 after an illegal contact down field penalty. I know this is picky but I think it was a below average job by the refs. Very glad they did not cost us the game.
It was offsides but if you're going to take a free shot take it downfield, Brett. A one yard pass isn't my idea of a free shot.
That was a bad non-call, but not nearly as bad as the face mask they called on Arizona. The dude grabbed Leon's jersey.
Yeah--she's extremely fu**in' hot but don't be too jealous--how would you like your girl posing like that for the world to see? And I bet she's a total flirt too. Sure, at the end of the night he gets to bang her and that's good (fuckin awesome I'm sure; at least the first few times)--but there's a lot of suffering that comes along with such a package.
As soon as brett threw the ball i knew exactly what he was thinking. I kept doing a double take waiting for the refs to announce an offsides..but it never happened. W/ that said, has anyone else noticed whenever the ball is thrown in tony richardson's direction bad things happen?
^ I'd put Richardson as the #1 reason we have any sort of running game this year, as, while both Ts are doing great in pass protection, they both tend to fold too often in the running game, and Mangold hasn't been upto par with his rookie season in run blocking for over a year now. Richardson has really helped to clear out some room for Jones, but he is absolutely the last guy on our offense I want Favre throwing the ball to. We have 2 capable RBs, 3 capable TEs, 3 excellent WRs, and a myriad of other options in the passing game. No need to throw to our glorified OG of a FB...
Yes! I was thinking the same thing yesterday. Would love to see the Jets pick up a FB with more versatility in the Richie Anderson/Jerald Sowell mold.
Not even close on the replay. I expect about as much from the officiating, but at least it didn't factor into the final outcome. Penalties: 11-71 ARI, 4-61 NYJ Actually, no he doesn't. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adriana_lima#Personal_life
I dont like to complain on officiating b/c it seems to always be an easy excuse. But damn, this year league-wide the refs are blowing calls left and right. sure they caught the cards 11 other times but this call is one of the easiest to make. in another game CAR vs. ATL, Hoculi blew another call flagging Julius Peppers for a roughing the passer penalty that was clearly a legal hit. Its really getting out of control.
