Which DB got ate up? I know it was a bad day for the secondary on a whole.
Just wondering how Revies did in coverage against those WR's.

A lot of Lowery, a lot of Coleman... DBs still need to be drafted, but Lowery is a good CB, he just needs time to develop into a poor mans Revis.

after the half they all took their share even Revies. If we didn't have such a hugh lead this would have been another loss. They seemed to make the proper adjustments to our D after the half. I would blame it on coaching.

Shut down Revis struck again! Rhodes didn't look great. Lowery looked like a promising rookie. Coleman's a tard. Poteat went back and forth.

Seemed like they were sending Rhodes on a lot of blitzes, opening up the middle of the field.

Rhodes was on blitz a lot - that's called predictability, but I don't know who else in the secondary can come in for blitz.

Jets need a good safety - and they are all set. Warner picked the zone apart in the second half - that goes to Sutton, not the players.

    Rhodes isn't a good safety?

pretty sure he meant another good safety to play beside Rhodes. Smith got a pick today, but he's mediocre at best.

all the yards after the half came purely because of scheme. the jets defense looked like world beaters in the first half. they were playing tight coverage allowing the blitzes to get to warner. there were multiple times when warner had plenty of time to throw but the coverage held strong. it was when they went into a shell in the second half that the yards started coming.

i didnt see any plays that i can remember anyone just getting torched. i just remember seeing them sitting in deep zones and needing to come up to make plays.

You can't blame the DBs - blame the scheme. In the third quarter, the DBs were playing so far off the ball in a deep zone that you couldn't even see them. The Cards predictably threw underneath over and over to score the 21 points in the 3rd quarter.

    No one in particular.

As soon as the second half came around we took our foot off the gas and played a prevent defense.

Revis may not be a "Shut down" CB... But he's as close to being "lock down" as they come! This kid can play with the best of em and by the end of this year, fans around football will be calling him a top 5 CB

Rhodes is one of the best Safetys in the game today! One hell of a player

And Lowery is starting to get me pumped up in the same ways that Revis did last year as a rookie CB... Lowery made some nice plays today and you know what? This game just made Lowery that much better!

I love the talent that this secondary has with Revis, Rhodes and now Lowery but you know what? The Potential is amazing
