No one has the balls to audible to that play, it had to come from the coaches. Maybe we learned something from the Chargers game last week.

With a kicking game like ours, you can't go conservative. It's either go for it and get 7, or miss the FG and get 0.
I'll pummel them when they do bad, and praise them when they do good. That was by design. The mere fact of going for it was by design, and I didn't see any major shift to indicate an audible there.
I don't really care - It worked. Favre, Mangini, Shotty... whoever made the call was made to look awesome. Of course, mind you, 4th and 1 is a perfect shot to go deep. Defense is playing tight to prevent dump offs, runs up the middle, and quick slants... so... it is understandable that a deep call, while risky, may have been the easiest thing to get open in that situation.
I don't care who called it. It was called. We have that person on this team to call that play and thats all that matters. The Jets get the credit.
