chill and get up to speed? this isnt a developing draft pick. and someone like favre isnt going to learn shit watching clemens or ratliff run this offense. the only way to "get his shit together" is to learn firsthand and develop in game timing with his WR's. not by watching the practice squad turned preseason all pro ratliff or clemens who i like, but the coaching staff doesnt seem to convinced on.

i dont need to get up to speed with anything. your the one suggesting we let favre hold a clipboard and one of our backups pulls us out of being under .500 while he studies. furthermore brett favre can study all he wants hes still going to improvise and buy time whether the results are negative or positive so that really throws the whole argument out the window.

I'm not suggesting he'll learn by holding a clipboard and studying; I'm saying he need more time to practice with our WRs and he's been limited in practice this week. Playing in Sunday's game would help him, obviously, but if he plays anything like he did last week, we won't win the game. It takes months to get timing and chemistry down with your receivers. He clearly doesn't have it yet and that is becoming increasingly apparent when he's throwing a third of his passes to places on the field where there are no receivers.

I don't think Favre misses this game. I believe 75% of the reason he's still playing is to keep that streak alive.

Plus, the man just loves to play football on Sunday (You can see it on his face at gametime). I think it's the practices and playbook and all the other stuff that goes with it he's grown tired of...

why so we can watch the greatness that is Kellen Clemens? give me a break. so he hasn't been in rhythm with the offense yet. do you think its gonna get better by him not playing with the offense?

Really doesn't matter. Favre is washed up. Clemons sucks. Ratliff? Who knows. Favre gives you all the best chance to win, unfortuantely it's a small chance, but a chance nonetheless.

    BS cheap shot.

With that said Born Again, there is no way the Jets win this game, with Clemens. They have perhaps the best two receivers in the league. need to score some points. Favre gives the Jets the best chance to do that

Even if it hurts - If favre can walk on it, Favre can play on it. Ankle braces will work fine - and pain doesn't bother him.

There is nothing to worry about it. 18 times in favre's career, he has been listed as questionable. 4 times as doubtful.

Still waiting for any of it to matter.

I forgot that one win in the NFL makes you SB champions when you are rooting for Miami. Last I recall, Favre beat the phins....so that slim chance only happens against the lowly and pathetic teams?

Congrats, you barely beat us. No idea why you brought that up, but since you did, I will bring this up. You lost to the Patsies, we blew them out. So what does that mean? Does that mean the Patriots are even lowlier and pathetic than us? So I guess that would mean the Jets are as lowly and pathetic as us as well then since you lost to the Patsies. Please think before you speak my freind.

Hopefully we beat the Chargers so we can end the debate to who is more lowlier and pathetic between the Jets and Dolphins. I think it's safe to say if we beat San Diego, that win in week 1 can be dubbed as "1st game jitters" for the Fins, and that we are, in fact the better team. We shall wait and see. But until then, leave your pathetic "Fins are lowly and pathetic" comments at home until you prove your not as lowly and pathetic yourself.

So when the Phins lose to the chargers, i bet the R&R Express breaks down and can't come visit TGG for at least 3 weeks

Hey jerkoff, why don't you just get off the board? The Fins are lowly and pathetic. Yes, the fins are lowly and pathetic. You heard me say it. This is a new york jets board in case you didn't know.

No, the Chargers are a very good team. I'm expecting us to lose. A win would come as a shocker to me. In no way am I guaranteeing a win. And even if we do lose, but are competetive (unlike the jets were), I will still be happy and consider it a success.

because you used the illogical we beat whoever argument to say the jets suck. beating a team we lost to can never make you better cause head up we still win. always. 1 win the last 9 meetings. dont act surprised to people laughing at shit talking from any phin fan. especially jets fans.

congratulations, your coach ran arkansas offense and exposed a slow patriots LB core. and your defensive coordinator is a better playcaller than ours after watching us bend and break the week before and he adjusted accordingly

the phins do look better cause pennington is probably the best qb theyve had since marino and parcells wont let them shit the bed with draft picks like ted ginn jr.

    so well see.

why weren't you trolling a jets board last year? that one win didnt give you enough ammo? congratulations you beat the pats. now that you guys have a high profile win all the other teams aren't gonna treat you guys as a joke. therefore they will actually come to play and the lack of talent will show.

dont they have dolphins message boards? go there and blow your load over a fluke win. and enjoy watching our trash play qb for you all year.
