We'll be able to use the Raiders until Al Davis either dies or is declared mentally incapable of managing the team.
^^ thats just hilarious... good work Byz....    I feel like grogan, and i don't even care!
good for the lions and their fans, Millan is the worst president in sports in this decade. Isiah Thomas is right behind him tho
Sorry, but I must disagree with you--No one on the green earth has ever been a worse sports president than Isaiah Thomas! And I mean ever--and I'm not exaggerating. We can fill a book with all the bad moves he's made--professional and otherwise. He should be in jail for what he did to the knicks--there has to be some crime committed there--reckless destruction of property perhaps.
1 of those horrible stats I saw ---- there is only 1 Lions first round draft pick left on the team between 2002-2005. 2002 - Joey Harrington 2003 - Charles Rogers 2004 - Roy Williams 2004 - Kevin Jones 2005 - Mike Williams Not to mention 4 receivers with the 1st round pick in 5 drafts 2003-2007 (the above & then Calvin Johnson in 2007). Horrible, horrible GM.
Boy I wish you hadn't brought up this stat. I looked at the Jets drafts as a comparison. Here's the embarrassing info that I found: The Jets have no first round picks from 2003, 2004 or 2005 (no pick) on their team. In fact, the Jets DO NOT HAVE A SINGLE PLAYER FROM THE 2003 DRAFT CURRENTLY ON THE TEAM ! And only 1 out of 10 picks from 2004. 2003 Draft 1 4(4) Dewayne Robertson DT Kentucky 2 21(53) Victor Hobson ILB Michigan 3 21(85) B.J. Askew FB Michigan 5 5(140) Derek Pagel S Iowa 5 15(150) Matt Walters DT Miami (FL) 6 27(200) Brooks Bollinger QB Wisconsin 7 23(237) Dave Yovanovits OT Temple Man, that hurts. Thanks Herm.
haha thats funny,ur right ,im a big knick fan and if their is one person that i hate in sports it is isiah, but if theirs one move i liked when he was the gm of the knicks is when he signed jerome james that guy is a beast:rofl:
oh thanks I didnt know i just assumed he was a rookie, but thanks tho my sig was wrong the whole time
Eddie Gates drove through the team's parking lot in his minivan as his girlfriend, Sue Stanton, held a sign, "Millen Must Go To Get a Super Bowl," out the window. "I've been a season-ticket holder for 28 years and because they fired Matt Millen, I'm going to renew," Gates said. "This is the happiest day of my life." The Fords -- father and son -- had been thrilled when they lured Millen out of the broadcast booth to run their hapless franchise. "I'm willing to stake my reputation on Matt's success," Bill Ford said after Millen was introduced at a news conference in January 2001. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3606294
"I'm an old man. I don't have much time left, so with that said, I'm hiring Matt Millen as GM of the New York Jets..."
