NO Im yelling at you. This offseaon you argued that your coaching staff was better than the raiders ,but all I hear from you is wanting to get Raiders coaches. What gives? Your can't have it both ways.

the Raider Front Office has been in meltdown for 6 years, but there are some young minds on the squad that could be coordinators or position coaches first, and then perhaps move up. Callahan isn't moving from his job.

I've always said Kiffin was a great young mind, he's just in football hell... Belichik Parcells Lombardi and Mike Shannahan coaching on the same staff couldn't save the Raiders due to Al Davis.

Kiffen is a glutton for punishment:

Despite rumors of his imminent firing, Lane Kiffin still has a job as the Raiders coach. But that hasn't stopped him from being linked to a potential college opening. From the Buffalo News, via CollegeFootballTalk.com:

"Syracuse coach Greg Robinson is as good as gone. It's astonishing how bad the Orangemen have become over the last couple of years. The latest rumor has embattled Oakland Raiders coach Lane Kiffin as a potential replacement. Kiffin could be fired at any time by owner Al Davis, who feels his 33-year-old coach has been guilty of insubordination."

When the axe drops this is what Crazy Al will say when he refuses to pay Kiffin the balance of his salary. Kiffin will sue, the NFL will try to intervene, Al will spit in both their faces, and eventually he'll be forced to pay because courts in this country are not generally impressed with the incoherent ramblings of apparently senile senior citizens.

Raiderjoe is Al Davis' interpreter, hello. You'd think everyone would have figured that out by now.

Yea Ask Mike Shanahan who still waiting for AL Davis to pay him. ( It will be a cold day in hell before Al Davis gives you a dime Rat) Don't ever bet against the Godfather, because I say Kiffin never sees a dime from Al Davis if he fires him.

It's amazing what jeaux will rationalize is good when he's talking about the Raiders. If Al Davis got up on the press conference table naked and started flapping his peter at the microphones screaming about orangutans hiding in the garage, jeaux would say that he has more expensive cars in the garage than any of owner in the league and that Al Davis' wrinkly, drooping taint was evidence of the greatness of the Raiders.

Raiders | Kiffin being let go soon?
    Mon, 22 Sep 2008 00:15:18 -0700

Continuing ongoing reports, Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports Oakland Raiders officials have informed head coach Lane Kiffin that they plan to remove him as the team's head coach as early as Monday, Sept. 22. General managing partner Al Davis blamed Kiffin for the team losing 24-23 to the Buffalo Bills during Week 3. However, similar reports leaked out last week and Kiffin was not removed.

if you aren't going to do so to stop the clock, at least use one to freeze the kicker. between that and the fact that they only threw 2 passes, I believe, in the entire second half and were content with running the ball 3 and out nearly every possession, he should have been fired before the game even ended and not been in a position to not know how to use TO's.

Everyone in my living room was laughing at how stupid it was not to use the timeouts. Even girls that don't really know the game that well were confused as to Kiffins decision. It was almost like he was trying to get fired.

Apparently there's a press conference in Oakland at 5 PM ET/11 PM CET. He could be fired there...
