a little premature, seeing as how we're only 2 games into the season.

i still like gholston, if he is still struggling into next year then maybe it was a mistake.

as far as the other picks, i really have no idea i would need to look at the entire draft and see who we passed on, and who is looking like a player right now, also love the lowery pick, we should have a great cb tandem if we can pay them both.

I'd have to say Mayo. He looks fantastic for the Patriots and takes care of a need in 2009 at ILB.

Trade back for Kenny Phillips. Imagine that tandem with Rhodes? Damn.

Use the 2nd rounder from that to get either Merling or Langford, and steal them from Miami. Those 2 are really good players.

I really like Miami DE Kendall Langford. And he fell all the way to the third round.

Surprising "bust" so far - Chris Long. He isn't doing anything in St. Louis. Then again, neither is anyone else.

Ignoring the round I really like what I've seen from Matt Forte so far. He has great size, speed and very quick moves. I think the Bears are set at HB for a very long time.

If we want to stay in the 1st round then maybe S. Ellis for 3-4 DE?

Nah, this guy is going to be a monster. He got his first sack last week, and will only go up from there. Remember though he is playing for St Louis... no one on that roster will put up good #s this year, that team is HORRIBLE.

I saw him in the combine and just loved how fluid he was for a 6'6 guy. I just knew he was a 3-4 DE... We had a damn good draft, but if there was a way to steal Langford, i wish they did it... i was really pissed to see him go to Miami - just like Crable going to the Pats.

Long is a football player he'll get better... he's a 3-4 OLB going to 4-3 DE - thats why I wouldn't mind a Gholston-Long trade straight up... they'd both play great right off the bat.

Everyone ragged Jerry Jones for taking Felix Jones over Mendenhall (myself included). And Jones has been nothing but electric. In fact I wonder why they don't get him the ball more often. Mendenhall hasn't gotten off of the bench.

^ Good point, but Parker never let the window open, even a little bit thus far. And based on his performance I doubt even if he has a bad week Rashard will see time.
