Unfortunately these aren't enough runs yet, even if he pitches 8 shutout innings. He needs to pitch a complete game, or the Mets need another 5 or 6 runs before I'll be confident.
The Brewers pulled off something even we couldn't manage this season: Lose a game where you lead by 4 runs with no one on and 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th. That's another step towards bouncing the Brewers and ensuring a playoff spot.

it really was amazing. I had given up on the Cubs for dead. down 4 in the bottom of the 9th. I underestimated the suckiness of the Milwaukee 'pen. I watched the 10th and 11th. Missed the weird 12th because of a prior engagement. Brewers had 2nd and 3rd, no one out in the top of the 12th and didn't score. That's a Mets trademark!
