we should've picked up Jon Ryan after he was released from the Packers....he used to punt for our CFL team (Winnipeg Blue Bombers)...that kid has a cannon for a leg. The Seahawks scooped him though.

Very true, Graham definitely did not do us any favors in the field position game. It is tough to score on any defense when you consistently have to start from your own 20, and your opponent gets to start drives from your 45.

Go away.....maybe come back when you understand football......maybe.

Or, use your goddamn head when you post. Nugent got injured for fuck's sake. Feely is completely healthy.

Feeley's kick destoyed all momentum and it was downhill from there.

Gostkowski did good kicking off and the Pats were setup with great field position all game due to Benny's horrible punts...

    What can ya do?

That was a statement to the Jets when Gostkowski did that... it was a mental game BB played with the Jets.. it said "Beat us with Favre and the defense" they took the best part of this team away from us... our ST.

No apologies needed. He was great 1st year but it has been hard to find the positives lately.

In principle I like the idea of the NFL becoming the retirement league for the big legged Aussies, after their Aussie Rules Football careers are over (usually by the age of 30-33).

But the saying about teaching old dogs new tricks is pretty accurate. Our guys grow up kicking a different ball and the style is very different. We never have a circumstance in Aussie rules that requires long hang time. Distance, yes, but not hang time. We kick the ball to pass it to our team mates so the lower and flatter the kick the better.

I also think the years are catching up with him. A career punter in the NFL could go for 20 years but you have to remember that Graham has played 12 years of full contact football, so probably has the body of a 40 year old.

Hate to say it but the end is nigh I'm afraid.
