What play from Week 1 made you think that team has possibly turned a corner? For me, it was when Miami was 3rd and goal and Lowery made a diving deflection to save the play. That play made me feel a lot better about our secondary this year and our defense in general.
TJ's TD run for two reasons: 1. He tied last year's TD production 2. His stiff-arm on Channing "Brilliance" Crowder was just awesome
Not really the play of the game, but I was happy we got some sacks - we had to wait until game 6 last year, I believe. Also, defensively against the run, we have gotten off to a very good start. The 2 standout plays were the Favre to Cotch TD and the Revis INT.
I agree the revis int was a bigger play. But I think what made me think we have turned a corner on defense was Lowery! If we can use single coverage more then we can blitz more and cause more problems for the QB.
I thought it was the play to stuckey, without that touchdown, we would have played in the 4th quarter and probably blowout the dolphins.
Lowery's consecutive bat-downs in the 4th Quarter. We may finally have 2 starting CBs who can flat out cover.
Not the best play, but an underrated one: Pace steaming in from the weakside to obliterate the flea flicker that looked like it might have burned us big time.
Have to agree with this. Lowery looked like a 1st round pick yesterday. The kid is a football player.
I agree Lowrey has been ridiculously impressive thus far. I wonder how he will develop when he starts gaining valuable experience.
