    Empty?

Of course their were lots of Jets fans...

But with a new season, Brett Favre vs. Chad Pennington...Bill Parcells. And most importantly a home opener with a 0-0 record.

None of their fans show up for the rivalry game against the Jets?

    They're effing pathetic...Can't even sell out a home opener...

Really? Maybe I wasn't watching the crowd attentively enough but it seemed like a decent crowd. Not quite a shocker though. Some fans!

NY owns Florida. Real Estate is owned by retired New Yorkers.

that is one of the reasons i have no respect for any miami sports team. their fans are the worst in the world. they never show and if their team is poor NOBODY shows, take the marlins with 600 fans the other day. its a shame.

I was at the game, there were a ton of people there (alot of Jets fans). I'd say about 1/5th of the people there were not even watching from their stadium seat, it was so hot out alot of people were watching from the TVs in the lobby area.

This is absolutely correct. It was ungodly hot in the open it felt like the seventh layer of hell. There were tons of people inside in the shade, old and young. I really can't blame them. I felt like a turkey on Thanksgiving it was so damn hot. I got lucky and snuck into club level. If I did not do that I would have been burnt toast by the end of the game.

I was in Miami for a packers game in 2000. Either the dolphins fans didn't show up or about 20,000 of them were disguised as empty seats.
There were probably more packers fans than miami fans there, and heat couldn't be blamed for that one. It was a nice day........probably 80 degrees.
