Should Jets go After Lynch?

    He couldn't even hold the jockstrap of the safeties we have now.

    Sounds like the Ronnie Lott signing- "veteran guy, leader, ..." but folks forgot to say "lost his speed"

    I'd give it a shot and what he's got. For crying out loud we are trying out chansi stuckey and David Barrett to positions they have never tried before, I think it would be worth a workout.

    didnt the patriots sign him and try using him as an OLB or am i mistaken? maybe he didnt fit well at the position. nfl network said we were looking at him.

    It's amazing how a guy who can't even make an NFL roster beat out Rhodes for the Pro Bowl. The voting for that is such a joke - reputation carries far more weight than actual performance or talent.

    well even if the fans dont want him, apparently the staff does... so who knows what we are doing...

    As a Pats fan, Lynch would be a good signing for you guys - hope he doesn't end up with the Jets. I watched the last 3 Patriots pre-season games and he definitely lost a step. However, we still hits like a truck and is enough of a pro that he'll always be in the right spot so he can cover for his lack of speed as the season goes on.

    ^ If I were a Pats fan I'd want the Jets to sign Lynch too.
