You're right, I think they say that if you give 1000 monkeys 1000 typewriters they will eventually, say, in a week or so, type the Oakland Raiders offensive playbook.
Recent pics of Jamarcus Russell have come in: here he is with none other than raiderjoe (Its always great to see an athlete be friendly to fans even if those fans have a creepy obsession with your 40 time)
In Green Bay we had Gilbert "Gravedigger" Brown and he weighed a real 370 and he was just a clog in the middle and a real favorite if you liked good line play, I am hoping Jenkins is in this mold. His brother Cullen was good at GB but he was not the player Kris was so I have high hopes KJ has some good years left.
The Giants had to spent 2 guys on him consistantly Saturday night. Thats why we pay the big man the big bucks.
Anyone remember a player named Ted Washington? That guy looked like he was 400 pounds....if Jenkins is anywhere near Ted's size at nose-tackle, opposing defenses can just forget about rushing the ball up the middle....
There is some pretty good anaylysis by me in this thread. Look at the dates. I Pretty much called it from the beginning.
Hey Jeaux, should we bump the thread in which you announced the Faiders were about to "unleash hell"?
What the hell are you talking about? And what exactly in my post that you bumped was I wrong about (other than overvaluing Gholston and Pouha)? Pace was excallent this year. Revis was in the top 3 in production this year for CBs and made the pro-bowl. Harris was hurt. Rhodes dropped off the face of the earth, but that was due more to shitty schemes by our previous HC. Your point that I was contesting was that the 3-4 wouldn't work, and Jenkins wouldn't work out. Ummm yeah, you were right on what exactly? Jenkins was an absolute beast. His play diminished do to fatigue and injury because he didn't have a decent backup to give him a rest. And he made the pro-bowl. I will admit I overestimated Gholston and Pouha. Live and learn. But your contention was that the 3-4 wouldn't work and Jenkins would fail because he was too big. Ummm yeah...What were you right about again?
Your posts are awful. Should I bump all the ones telling us how good the Raiders were going to be in 2008? Or maybe the ones telling us how good they would be in 2007? 6 years, jeaux. 6 years.
Hey Jeaux the Raidchokers had a nice season and a better record than the Jets. Nice prediction champ =)

ONe developing CB not going to cut it. You do know teams play three and four Wr sets . Listen your in denial right now. Lets wait for the season for you to see what Im talking about. Just remember where you heard it from first. Tell Mangini if he wants me to be his DC, he knows where I am.- Raiderjeaux. You are so full of crap, it is funny. FIRST, stop putting words in my mouth I NEVER said the Jets had the same Dline as the Pats. I said the Pats use a 3-4 with fatass Wilfork plugging the middle. So it does work. But according to you, because the Raiders failed with it (ignoring the fact that the Raiders FO refused to give Ryan the players needed to properly run a 3-4) then it can't work at all. Point 2) Once again you are full of crap. Did you watch Harris last year at all? When he wasn't chasing the QB, he was a ballhawk. There is a reason QBs stopped throwing in his direction. And Pace is very good in coverage, he is probably better in coverage then rushing the passer. Please try reading, I never said Gholston was a coverage LB. His specialty is rushing the passer, which frees up a guy like Pace to drop back, or Harris to blitz. Point 3) Otay genius lets go slow. 3-4 Wr sets. You have Revis, Rhodes, shutting down their parts of the backfield. Which frees up average players like Barret or Smith since they don't have to worry about as much area. Then you have Harris blitzing up the middle, with Pace, or Gholston (if that is who they draft) coming from the outside. With that much pressure, the QB has no time to throw. This is the formula the Pats have been using for years. If you were a fan of a decent team I would give you the benefit of the doubt. But every year I read the same crap about how the Raiders are going to be SO good and they have such a better roster then the Jets. I forget what was the Raiders record the past 3 years? Yeah... __________________
