Exactly what the hell is a collarbone "injury?" You usually either break the freakin' thing or you don't. I've never heard of a "contusion" (or bruising) of the clavicle.

Either way, it's a blessing they're not talking shoulder separation, which is what I though he had while watching the game. Maybe he can return after 5-6 weeks.

I really like this young man... he can blossom into a real threat for us.

Whenever they're this secretive, it's bad. Along the lines of what 227 is saying, you don't "strain" your collarbone. You either break it, or you don't.

Though I guess it could be a hairline fracture, and they're hoping it could heal quickly? Still, it wouldn't be "day to day".

LOL a "day to day" collarbone injury. That is pretty damn funny.

The story I hear is he is getting a kidney transplant and should be back in 2 weeks.

Apparently Vilma didn't even know his knee was shredded until after they did the surgery. Personally, I place zero creditability in anything teams say about injuries, especially with this staff...

Here is what Mangini said today.

"David won't be out there for a little while. We'll just take it day by day and kind of gauge it," Mangini said, confirming that he suffered a shoulder injury on the play. Asked how serious the injury is, the coach replied, "I don't know yet."

Well, Cimini is the source of the broken collarbone. He believes his "peeps".

    Mangini says it's the shoulder.

    Let's see what happens.

The way he fell I had immediately guessed dislocated shoulder when it happened. I could be wrong.

I have injured my collarbone twice:

One WAS a deep contusion of the collar bone that they were unsure of whether or not it was a fracture or not. I got it in gym.

The other was a compound fracture of the collar bone that same day on my first play from scrimmage after they had shot my shoulder full of novocaine.

That was also the day my football career ended and my family forced me to become a golfer. Less chance of the ambulance coming onto the field to take me to the hospital like it did that night.

In regards to Clowney: it is POSSIBLE that it is very minor and if so could be back maybe as early as NE.

Clowney, Stuckey and a 5th rounder for Boldin.

    The Corps would look like this - C & C & B.... and Keller.
