I still think Chad stays and agrees to a restructuring at the last minute. He's not getting big money anywhere else so he'll realize he has the best chance to make the most money here and if he can revive his career he'll make back alot in incentives. Mawae is one who will play hardball and would not restructure, I hope we can keep him but I would be shocked if he did anything to help the tam cap wise.
Chad has to restructure. He isn't getting a better deal from another team, and the Jets will improve the offer. Just give it time to play out.
Of course he desrves a second chance, just not a 9 million dollars second chance. Chad is getting some horrible advice from his agent. It is sad to see a career take a very bad turn like that. I do not think he will get a realistic opportunity anywhere else. Chad will be a #2 QB for the rest of his career. We knew Law was going to happen so I am not worried or surprized. We need to send Tonya Harding over to Mawae's pretending to be the avon lady.
Tannenbaum can't make another offer without a counter from Pennington, if he negiotates with himself at this point they might as well fire Tannenbaum today. If Chad doesn't counter even if it's a high counter the negiotations are over.
