The boy has 250+ consecutive starts. He's played (and won) with a broken thumb, shoulder problems, 30 feet of intestines yanked out, father's death, etc. Don't worry about a tired shoulder in training camp.
This is a guy that always tells the media exactly how he feels and what he thinks. In the next sentence he also basically said he's surprised it took this long to feel fatigued. Nothing to see here, carry on ...
Brett's arm could be as tired as it's ever been and he would still be able to throw the ball twice as far as Chadwick on his best day.
the guy has thrown more passes and worked on his game since the end of Jan and its gonna catch up to someone... the man is fine, and like everyone is saying...Brett with fatigue arm > scrubs we carry
It's no big deal. Anyone who's played sports and who's worked out, knows that rest is just as important as practicing, or hitting the gym. So it's no surpise that after being off for a few months, he comes in day after day of Jet's practice and feels sore - that's normal.
Where do you guys come up with this stuff?????? Favre has been on his couch retired since January, he's done no off-season work at all, he said so himself.
You know what. We are all very flattered that you are taking time out of your busy day to worry about what the Jets are doing. Your insecurity is as transparent as a clean glass window. Worrying about what a 39 year old former retired QB is doing. Aren't you cute? :breakdance:
You're wrong. He was in good ol' Miss throwing the pigskin around in an undisclosed High School to High School kids. I stand by my previous post. It's time to close the box on Brett and call this trade one of the worst in the history of sports. If no one is going to jump on my Ratliff bandwagon, at least I hope the CS gives Ainge a nod. Oh and if anybody has seen or heard from Vinny T, please let him know or forward him this thread immediately.
Herm's not here to give him the rest of August off though. I completely understand the rest. Favre has probably been trying to push himself pretty hard the last few days - possibly quasi-showing off a bit - also understandable.
There are always aches and pains in camp and when you start throwing all day after being off it's natural to have a tired or sore arm. I am not concerned at all about this. They know what they are doing w/ him.
Everyone(every troll, that is) is making a big deal out of Favre's current age(39) and him being able to grasp the Jets playbook.... Vinny T was 40,000 years old when he came off the couch, went to Arizona, and won a game WITHOUT knowing ANY of the Panthers playbook. So if Vinny can do THAT, This will be a piece of CheeseHead-Cake for Brett...
