I am married to an NFL junkie. You do not know how many times she has yelled" Same F---ing Jets" over the past 11 years together.
Hopefully this year it's "Favreeee don't do it.. don't do it... nooo... yessssss! touchdown!" You might just get lucky
If you'll pardon my saying so, that seems a little... odd. I mean, I've heard of women yelling "Oh, my god, yes!" and that sort of thing, but "Same f'ing Jets"? That's a new one on me. Ah, well, I guess she must be a real fan.
Terri, will you marry me?;-) You're the bomb! P.s. fellow Packer fan here... well on hiatus until the three stooges get fired. Go Jets!
I'm glad it worked out that Bubba is here to help Brett along. To me, it always seemed the two of them were pretty close. Brett didn't seem to have too many close friends on the Packers team last year, though Bubba was definitely one of them. I was actually at the game in Philly ('05 I think) when Bubba suffered that neck injury and was taken off on a stretcher. It was really scary to watch; Bubba's always been one of my favorite players. He was quite good before that injury in Philly. It's a shame because he was really starting to rebound before last season's injury. Here's hoping that Bubba can get things turned around this year.
You guys are going to like Bubba if he is healthy. He's got great big soft hands and he is like money in the bank. He knows how to get open and he is deadly on the goal line. It used to look like he and Favre were just playing catch. Favre could soft touch it to him where only Bubba could get it or throw a 70 mph bullet and Bubba wouldn't let you down in the end zone.
Bubba had a case of the dropsies in '06 and got hurt. Roared back in '07 and was a big part of the team's success. Simply got pushed out the door by up and coming younger guys. You'll get a few more good years out of him IMO
