I'm planning on driving up from North Carolina just to see Brett at training camp. Just wanted to know which day(s) are best to go, and when the last day is that is open to the public. The Jets website has this Monday as the last day scheduled. Any help is appreciated
wednesday is open at 8:45AM and 5:45PM. So tomorrow is a good time to go. I'm, as of right now, going to make the PM practice. That could change however. Time is running out to go, so the sooner the better.
You have to watch that they don't cancel it on you. If you're comingup from NC, try to make it so that you've got a couple of practices back-to-back, in case they bail one on you.
I heard that today's sessions were canceled, and that tomorrow's schedule may change. This is unconfirmed, but I was planning on going tmw, so if anyone hears anything, post it here. Thanks!
Do you know when they would post any changes to the webite? I was thinking of leaving early morning to make the PM practice, but I can change those plans if they post it early enough. Is there a number you can call for info?
I don't know, but there should be. They've been notoriously lax in getting the word out about changes or cancellations, but there has to be something on the website. This is why I say, if you're coming all that way, try to pick days with a couple of practices stacked up so you have some options. They are calling for "a chance of" T-storms for just about every day this week, so that could throw a monkey wrench in it for you also.

Someone I know who seems to know what is going on said that tmw will be a 1:30 practice, but like I said, that is unconfirmed. That kinda screws me up, as i was planning on going to the morning session. But if anyone hears something, please post it here later, so i know wtf to do. thanks
The Jets should have a Training Camp Schedule hotline with a recording that's up-to-the-minute, like a movie schedule recording. "Tomorrow morning's 8:45AM practice has been moved to 1:30PM. There is no 4:45PM practice. Thank you for your interest in attending Training Camp."
OK - so now I'm starting to think to shoot for next week. They have 1:30 scheduled for Monday. Someone else told me that the last practice open for the public is next Thursday. So that would give me a couple of fall back days. Can anyone confirm that next Thursday is the last practice open to the public?
Well, someone else i know said they spoke to the Jets offices and that tmw is back to the original schedule- one in the a.m. and one in the p.m. Sigh- i guess i'll get up early and head out there and take my chances.

It shouldn't be, I think practices usually go until the week of the last season game...I could be wrong though.
