Thought I would make a thread about Favre's quotes. He makes some good ones. "I am just one man. 1 of 53." Then just now someone asked him about Chad Pennington. "The only knock on him was his arm strength. So what? Just because I can throw a ball through a wall doesn't mean I am going to win every game." :lol: Classic. Add some others if you want.

Or if you google the holmgren-favre relationship, there are hilarious quotes of holmgren controlling favre's instinct/randomness and chastising him "can you please stop throwing rocket balls"

Not meaning to name drop, but five of us had lunch with Brett in 2005. During the lunch we were talking about how nice his two daughters were. How polite they are etc. We asked how involved he was in that. His reply: "Deanna teaches them manners and all that, I just teach them to burp and fart"
I wish he would stop talking about the Packers. At this point, the only quote i want from him is, "i'm a JET now, that's the only team i'll comment on".

Don't worry, I'm sure he will in time. It has to be hard to change gears when you've been on the same team for 16 years. Give him a couple weeks with his new teammates and I'm sure that being a Jet will be a lot more comfortable for him.
How about some great Chad quotes? (NOTE: I am NOT a Chad P. fan!)
