Leinart tries to run it in & is stopped, but Bush pushes Leinart into the endzone & they win. So, actually Bush makes that play , not Leinart. 4. - Matt Leinart against Texas in Rose Bowl.....4th & 1 near mid-field near end of game. Leinart hands off to Lendale White & White is stopped short of 1st down. Bush...for some mysterious reason isn't on field at time, so he can't bail Leinart out of this situation. Simply...Plainly....Clearly....>>> Vince Young ...if available ...is the Qb I want to see leading the Jets' . And Vince Young is not the QB other AFC EAST teams don't want to see leading the Jets'. Think about that ????
How about finding out if penny can play at his old form, or giving ramsey a try? We are not going to the playoffs this year anyway... Why not wait to draft a QB and a HB next year. Brady quinn and whoever.
The only way the jets make the playoffs, is if ramsey untapped potential is released and plays at the level he was drafted for.

That was a fantastic play. A great pass by Leinart. :beer: I'm not knocking Leinart, he's a very good QB. These 4 plays just ran thru my mind.
You do realize Young is fast and can break tackles? Leinart is not. If we draft Leinart, he's not going to take off on 4th down with burning speed. Leinart > Young. Young is a project.
And you all thought I had a thing for Leinart...I never started one thread on Matt Leinart(at most one)...this guy has like 15 Vince Young threads by himself.

This manlove for Young has to stop. The manlove for Leinart is pretty bad here too. Some of you people act like you will die if the Jets don't draft your favorite player. Who can say unhealthy obsession? I HIGHLY doubt the Jets take any QB. This front office is tight lipped about everything. But all of a sudden their private workout dates for the QBs get leaked to the press? Think about that for a minute. It is all a smokescreen to add value to the pick to see if they can shake loose a deal from another team. It is going to be Williams or D'Brick. Or trading down if they can find a taker.
Yeah seriously Hydro. That play was the only one of the 5 that involved a QB "passing" (I know it's a novel concept) to get the first down on fourth down. In my opinion it was more impressive than any of the ones listed by Run N Gun.
yeah i dont get the comparison of the 4 plays at all....one of the leinarts he scores!!! so wheres the problem?and then he hands off to white.....not getting the leinart shortcomings...he was 29-40 for 365 yds and a td....i dont think he played poorly(in his 3rd national title game)
