    Even though I created the name as a play on all the Chad-oriented names created at the time I joined... I guess it's time to change it... but not for a QB that will only be here for a year or two.

    Love ya Chad, you'll be missed as apart of the organization. Gave him all kinds of hell during his career here, but sad to see him go still. Good luck to him.

    As much as I've hated on Chad the past couple of years, I do wish him the best in wherever he ends up. I hope that he can go to a team that can better use his particular talents. Maybe he can go to Minny, and play up there. He gave us all he had and I think we should all thank him for that.

    I really don't want Chad out of New York but since he's going to be, I would like to see him in the NFC North where I can atleast watch him twice a year...plus I love Peterson and think MIN would be a great fit

    pennington has done alot for the jets, its sad to see him go but u gotta move on to clear up cap space, but yea i see him reuniting with herm

    In the interview Tannenbaum said the following:

    "there will be a separate transaction involving Chad Pennington before 4:00pm tomorrow."

    "Eric has spoken to Chad about this."

    Sounds like there is still an outside shot at a trade...couldn't be more than a 6th or 7th rounder since teams know the Jets will release Chad and wouldn't take him on without renegotiating his contract which could be difficult.

    A few teams that can use him...Vikings (Probably an already done deal here) Dolphins (starter for maybe a yr), NE (brings a lot of spying material without having to cheat), KC (herms fav. guy) and the Bears because he is better than Gross-man
