    Favre plays 70% of snaps and Jets make playoffs - 2nd round pick

    Favre plays 80% of snaps and Jets make SUPERBOWL - 1st round pick

    Exactly. F a 1st round pick if the Jets make the Superbowl with Favre...It'd be MORE than worth the compensation for this franchise.

    What happens if neither conditions are met?

    Oh, and I like just found about the Favre trade this second. I think I'm still in shock.

    haha.. thats my point, at 1st I thought if Jets make playoffs they get a 1st which wouldnt be that great,

    What if he plays 100% and the Jets miss the playoffs? Which is what will happen.

    Sounds excellent...If we make the Super Bowl...I can't even imagine. I would give up a first round pick though, I'll tell you that. It all sounds too good to be true. Is it a 3rd if neither conditions are met? Because I'm cool with that.

    Just to clarify.

    Right now, the Jets owe the Packers a 4th rounder for the pick alone.

    If Brett plays 50%, they get a 3rd.

    If Brett plays 70% PLUS gets the Jets into the Playoffs, then they get a 2nd.

    If Brett plays 80%, PLUS they go to the Super Bowl, they get a 1st. However, if Brett gets hurt late in the year, the Packers will only get the 2nd round pick.

    See, they accounted for the Madden curse...lol.

    So if we don't make the playoffs it's only a 3rd.

    Great trade. I'd trade a 2nd round pick for the playoffs. I'd trade a 1st for the Superbowl.

    Essentially – we are giving up the Vilma pick. Not a big deal in my eyes for what he (potentially) brings to the team.

    In case there are some of you out there who think that the Jets will trade Brett Favre to the Vikings...

    ...Schefter just reported that part of the deal between the Jets and Packers is, if the Jets trade Favre to the Vikings...then the Packers get 3-1st round picks from the Jets.

    I knwo it's ridiculous, but I just wanna kill any ideas out there.

    sweet, cuz if u think about it, we make the playoffs, its a mid-late 2nd pick.

    AND IF WE MAKE THE SUPERBOWL, its only a 31st or 32nd pick! I'd take that anyday!
