Does anyone know what the max markup is on these tix? I thought there was a 10% max? If so, how does stubhub sell tix for almost 3 times face value?
    Thanks,

    Ticket Markup

I believe the LEGAL MARKUP IS 20% in New Jersey

BUT pEOPLE CAN SELL TICKETS ON sTUB-hUB FOR WHATEVER PRICE THEY WISH. THIS IS because Stub-Hub is not setting the price, but acting as a middle person, to help distribute, but never actually handle the tickets.
The person who actually sells or sets the price is who the LAW would go after, if they are marked up too high!!!!

    Stubhub is located in California:

    http://www.stubhub.com/company-contact

California law explicitly allows scalping as long as it is NOT on the grounds of the event:

    http://www.cga.ct.gov/2006/rpt/2006-R-0761.htm

    For New Jersey:
