That is the winning answer right here. With chad in the line will be stacked, running game predictable and shut down, receivers injured, 115-125 passing yard games, more excuses about the arm/leg injuries and wishing he could have one or two passes back per game. At least with KC a def. will respect his athleticism and ability to air it out. I think the heat on his throws is causing alot of dropped passes. he may have more int's than CP but look at the way he moves the ball downfield. My vote is KC.
Same old sorry story. Captain Red shirt has a great camp and folds like a deck of cards when he plays the real comp. Here we go again!
i cannot believe how the same thing has been talked about for months on end. just let it go lol. whoever wins wins. fuck it if you don't like who wins and just support them
It's definitely a problem. Last year KC actually looked better in the preseason games than CP did, for the most part. I suspect if that happens again this summer, he'll end up taking the snaps when the regular season starts.
yeah a few weeks into camp a guy whos been playing over twice as long looks better. why are you on a message board, im sure NFL Network would accept a reel of your great analysis and the world can no longer be deprived of such great logic.
This statement says it all. Too bad that ain't saying a helluva lot.. Another season of the DDP is coming our way folks. I can hardly wait.. Perhaps one day, before the first manned Mars landing, the Jets will finally have a QB. Too bad I won't live long enough to see it..
I think i might be the only person in the world who likes both Chad and Kellen. I don't think either is going to be a pro ball quarterback, but i think either one now has the tools around them to take us to a winning record. Pennington is the most accurate passer in NFL History, and yeah he isn't impressing anyone with his arm these days, but an O-line to give him some time, he should be able to pick apart a D, and Kellen really hasn't been given enough time to show what hes got. I like his mobility and arm strength and think his play will improve greatly with a revamped O-line. Bottom line is im happy with whatever mangenius decides on, and i am hopeful for a good season of football.
amen! even at his best, he was a quick exit from the playoffs. if he had put up only one td in pittsburgh, the kicker would not have been needed to win that game.
The coaches and front office didn't see anyone out there that they liked better, which is why both are back here in camp.
listen guys....we all know Pennington's body can't take a hit....we've seen him get injured more often than naught. Sure, he shows how tough he is by playing injured...but the fact is, he's an injury magnet. With Chad's track record, Clemens will probably be starting by week 3 anyways, regardless of who wins the TC competition.....
Good point. I've always felt most teams really need two guys to get through a season most of the time anyway. Clemens got KOd from his 4th or 5th start last year, too, Chad in his first. While we hope to protect both guys better this year, injuries still happen.
