Yeah that might get it done but Seattle may want them to throw LaTroy Hawkins, Kyle Farnsworth and Sister Christian in as well.
i hope washburn gets traded to the yanks i have him on my fantasy team and he could be in line for more wins
It always makes me laugh to see people root for teams they despise because they need a player's fantasy stats.
That's why I refuse to draft any Yankees other than Wang. Being he is from Taiwan my wife would kill me for not rooting for her fellow country person. BTW he is a god in that country and it's pretty dam weird seeing him pitch live at 9 AM in the morning when it's still 9 at night the day before in NY.
I don't put Yankees players on my teams. I forgot about my one fantasy draft in February. I signed on during the 6th round. One of my 1st 5 picks was a Yankees player. Yahoo drafted Bobby Abreu for me. I had to trade him. I got Gary Sheffield in exchange for Abreu. That trade blew, along with other dumb moves. I dropped Jacoby Ellsbury for a random piece of shit off the waiver wire. In addition to those, I made other horrendous moves in March and April. Now my team is in first place. Go figure.
you despise bobby abreu that much? i have wagner on my fantasy team, a guy who is one of the least likeable mets.
See, I can get on board with that. If I participated in fantasy baseball, I'd never have any Red Sox on my team. Even if I got Ortiz and Manny, I'd trade them both. I'd just never be able to root for them, no matter how badly I needed their success.
As long as my team wins I have no problem rooting for players on my fantasy teams. If I have say, Arod on my team, I'm fine with the Sox beating the Yankees and giving up 3 HR to him in the process.
Randy Moss got my team to the superbowl last year. I lost but still got some money...Ill be trying to draft his ass again this year
This is a big reason I don't play fantasy sports. It's also why I hate getting roped into my office football pool every year. I can't root for teams/players I don't like. Hell, I actually like Manny Ramirez, and I hope he strikes out every single at-bat, against the Yankees, against the Rays, against the Jays, against the Royals, even against the Pirates. I view opposing players and teams as mortal enemies. (Not in a violent way, but on the field of play.) I want them to always fail. Anyone wearing a Red Sox or Patriots jersey above all else, I desire to fail completely, to the exclusion of any other event. I could never have one of those players on my fantasy team. I'll admit though, I never saw the appeal in fantasy leagues anyway. To me, it's just work.
of course that's the ideal situation, for your team to win and the player to excel. Trouble is, that rarely happens. Your situation, for example, has never happened and probably never will happen.
Yeah my situatiosn usually work like this..... I have John Maine and Albert Pujols on the team so of course Pujols jacking 3 out and driving in 8 is nice but Maine's wonderful ERA cancels out the positive of the Pujols offense.
Well, prior to the Yankees he played for the Phillies. Therefore, I have not liked him for a while now.
Hell he plays for the Mets and I don't even like his pathetic redneck ass. That fuck needs to listen to some more Pantera instead of Trace Adkins.
