Honestly, what happened to any talk??????? he is a good QB and i would be happy with him at 4, everyone is putting the losing QB ahead of the WINNING QB in the national championship, he has a strong arm BUT WAIT! theres more.......................... 200 yds rushing babby. that boy can runnnn
Some people just can't admit that the old doubts about VY have been proven wrong again and again. The Jets will regret it if they pass on this chance.
Hes dumb and he has poor mechanics. He played in a simple offense in college. Doesn't look like he could handle a pro offense.
"When you have to play extra people in the box to stop his run it's going to leave you a bit vulnerable to the pass. I thought he played hard. He kept getting hit and beat up and kept coming back. And his team won." — Ohio State coach Jim Tressel “He had a run in that game where we missed him 13 times. No, really, 13 times. We counted. We had three guys miss him twice.” — OU defensive coordinator Brent Venables on Young as a redshirt freshman “25 of 29? Are you kidding me? That’s hard to do against air. Vince made great throws all day. At this level you see a few guys with capes and S's on their chest and Vince Young is one of them." — Colorado head coach Gary Barnett "There's no question he's the best football player in America. I don't have a vote for the Heisman, but if I did, he'd get it. Nobody does for their team what Vince Young does for his." — Kansas head coach Mark Mangino “Vince has come a long way. It’s not my job to evaluate him, but obviously I watch a lot of tape and just happen to have played that position myself. He plays with poise now. He’s very dangerous. If you watch him during a game he’s very respectful to other players. I have a lot of respect for a guy who does that. He’s not a hot dog; he just goes out there and does his job.” — Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy “Vince Young was extraordinary. He was an extraordinary talent out there tonight. It was obviously the difference in the football game. It was obvious why they were so affected this year. Good players all over the board, but he's off the charts. He's a heck of a football player.” — USC head coach Pete Carroll “I'm on the record telling you guys how hard it is to stop the quarterback. He is a difficult quarterback to face, because he's so fast. It's not that he's scrambling. He's a fast guy and he's big. He probably made us miss a dozen tackles tonight and we slipped right off the guy. He threw the ball quite well again. A great 1st half. I don't know what his numbers were the 2nd half. A great 1st half. He took what we gave him. He is a heck of a football player.” — USC head coach Pete Carroll “It's extremely frustrating, in particular when you know what the problem is. We tried to get after him, even when we looked like we were going to sack him. If you go back, I'm not sure if we had a shot to turn the ball over, and they knocked the ball away from us. But that was our chance to win the football game right there. We were just looking for one more, we couldn't find it. He was too good.” — USC head coach Pete Carroll “It's just the factor that he brings that makes a difference with this team, they are good players all across the board, but he's so unique. He's an X factor, he just takes off running and that's the issue. We weren't able to stop him when we had a chance.” — USC head coach Pete Carroll “He's got to be up there, with all he's done. I don't know, but I know he's a great one. The top that has ever played.” — USC head coach Pete Carroll, on where Vince Young ranks among college quarterbacks
