Fantastic post. I've been fighting for Brick since the end of last season. He's WELL on his way to becmming a top 5 pass protector in this league. I have no doubt he'll get there. Technically mangold could be on this list as well. He's already the best young center in football...but this maybe the year that he makes the pro bowl. Faneca is REALLY gonna make him stand out for the quality lineman that he is.
I'm with you guys. No doubt in my mind Brick and Mangold have breakout seasons this year with Faneca between them. Brick's been vastly underrated by just about everyone and after taking a step back because he had to compensate for the ineptitude of the turnstile next to him, Mangold should be damn near pro bowl bound. Oh, but Revis? You kidding me? He couldn't even make the Raiders' practice squad :breakdance:
Mr. MobiusOne, I invite you to watch that far-off east coast Jersey swamplands team defensive backfield this year to see what you are definitely missing.
I really dont like the list I see a bunch of guys who already are good players I don't see how they are "breakout"
I love the fact that whenever Prisco madmouths the Jets, it's always "Ah, well, he's full of sh*t" but now that he praises Revis, he knows his stuff. Either way, Revis is going to explode, now that he will have help from the Defensive front 7 actually pressuring the QB.
Nah man, everything's so clear here in Jeauxland. The skies are black and silver and it rains 40 times from the sky. You should come down sometime. In all seriousness, Revis is going to be a stud and a fixture in this backfield for years. Trading up to grab him was a coup.
