    the wilpons should come out in the middle of this press conference and announce that omar is fired too.

    I don't find it a problem if Manuel fails he'll be gone and we will have hopefully a good manager search, whether it is Omar doing the hiring or not.

    Wow there is a very weak comparision between NY which is an legit 2 team town and Chicago where even after a World Series the White Sox still has nowhere near equal treatment.

    I love the guy calling him out for his scheduling of things and Omar saying something about "I probably coulda got a flight out at noon but..."

    I thought Willie should have been fired at the end of the season like most of us.
    But I've never wanted to see someone get fired as much as I'd like to see the Wilpons handing Omar a greyhound ticket back east right now.

    I can't believe Omar gave himself and ownership a pat on the back for hiring a black manager. That they just fired. Surreal.
