    David Harris rated 10th.

    10. David Harris, ILB, New York Jets. The Texans? DeMeco Ryans looks like a Pro Bowl fixture in the middle for years to come, but when will Ray Lewis stop getting to Hawaii on reputation alone? For the sake of Harris, a second-round, second-year man out of Michigan, let?s hope it?s as early as this year.

It was a tough call between Harris and the Raiders? Kirk Morrison, but Harris gets the nod because he has a higher degree of difficulty as a young player who plays one of two inside spots in a 3-4. Harris still found plenty of room to thrive as a rookie, recording more sacks (five) than any AFC inside linebacker. He will be freer to make plays because the Jets added a big tackle, Kris Jenkins, and another pass-rush threat at linebacker, Calvin Pace.

That's great, but I wouldn't even consider Harris the most likely Pro Bowler on our team.

While Harris was outstanding last year, Kerry Rhodes has put up the stats and has had the talent the past two years to be an All-Pro in each of them.

I wouldnt be surprised to see harris and rhodes have monster years with the help that was brought in this offseason. If Jenkins can play the nose well then people will be afraid of our defense.

LOL @ Rhodes not being on that list.

And Eli better ride the crap out of this post-Super Bowl wave.

    Dear lord, two observations:

    1. This guy looks like a gnome. Look at the picture. I'm laughing just thinking about it.
    2. He has a GIANT hard-on. Yeah, their offensive line is disrespected despite being one hell of a run blocking unit, but Eli? What the hell? Instead of losing games for the Giants, he played like an average quarterback! He's the savior! Best quarterback ever!

    What?

I second that this guy looks like a garden gnome.

Does anyone think Snee could be a pro-bowler? I watch some Giants games every now and then because I have a lot of Giant fan friends, but almost 80% of the time when I saw a false start and holding penalty on the Gmen, it was Snee. Every time a flag went up near the line I started just calling out Snee's name every time and my friends were not surprised when it was him. "Fucking Snee" was a common phrase. I would say Diehl has a better shot.

I think Lynch does have a real good shot to make the pro bowl if he builds on last year.

This reporter has also jumped on the Eli Manning bandwagon like many, and I strongly disagree. He was good last year in the near, but I wouldn't say great.

If Jenkins plays the nose as he has the potential to, Harris will have a monster year and will have to be at least in the running for Pro Bowl.

All the others seem reasonable/don't know the player well enough to judge

As much as I like Rhodes, I do believe that Harris will be the best bet to make the pro-bowl this year, especially with Jenkins eating up the middle and freeing up Harris for a ton of tackles. If this team plays up to potential on defence they could have 4 pro-bowlers (Harris, Rhodes, Revis , Jenkins).

If Jenkins does his job well enough to get Harris, Rhodes and Revis in there, I've got to believe that Gholston will also make it to Hawaii...hmmm, 5 pro bowlers on defense sounds like a division-winning, top-two seed to me.

your crazy. yeah rhodes has been snubbed the last two yrs for pro bowl but Harris is an absolute monster he had something like 17 tackles his first game and 21 the in his second start against washington? 5 sacks in 9 games at ILB of a 3-4.

and this was without the significant upgrades we made with Jenkins and Pace, not to mention Gholston in the mix now.

while i agree kerry rhodes is captain material and one of the best safeties. harris looked like a throwback tackling machine of the 70s when one players name would be over the loudspeakers all day.

but were in total agreeance. with rhodes becoming one of the highest paid and with an improved record if he plays as consistent as he has im sure his first pro bowl will be here.

    We beat you.

    8. Jermaine Phillips, S, Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Although Phillips has been around for six seasons in Tampa, he has emerged as one of the NFC’s best strong safeties just over the past two seasons. Cornerback was way too loaded in either conference to even consider a newcomer, and safety is backed up with elite talent, as well. It will be tough for Phillips to be invited to luau ahead of bigger-name safeties Darren Sharper and Roy Williams, but at least one Bucs defender deserves props for the unit’s resurgence.

Personally I don't like Phillips at all. And think this is over rating him severely.

How about Mangold? With an improved o-line, I think he's going to have the opportunity to establish himself as one of the best centers in the league.
