Just watched it. He said if he could choose for the Jets at #4, he would take D'Brick. Also said if he had to choose a QB, he would take Leinart because he is a proven winner. Said he also liked Young. Said he did not see any of Cutler so can't comment. He did say he expects Chad to be the starter opening day. Said McGahee and Dillon were the toughest RBs he's played against, and that Bettis hit him harder than any other RB. Said the toughest thing about the NFL was losing. Oh, and the QB he most likes to hit is...Tom Brady.

And said if he didn't got to Miami, would have gone to either Florida, Florida State or Pitt.

All in all, a great interview. Seems like a very nice, well-spoken guy.

Of course, we must keep in mind that a 3.5 at the U is equivalent to a 2.7 at most legit academic institutions...

Jive shouldn?t count ? anyone can speak that and anyone who has lived in Miami NEEDS to know how to speak Spanish.

As for Football players with 3.5's...thats a total joke; i'd be surprised if he spent 3.5 hours in a classroom in any of his semesters.

Don't get me wrong - i'm a huge Vilma fan.

total nonsense, there may be a slight inflation but not as much as you say. ive had many athletes as my students at FSU and many are above average.

do you realize he was a finance major and finished very high in his class, and would be working on wall street if he wasn?t playing in the NFL. He didn?t have bullshit major like a lot of athletes in college. Do you also know he speaks 4 languages? Does some research before you make stupid comments, it makes you seem very uneducated.

I take offense to that. I attend the U and it is not a cake walk that the rest of the nation makes it out to be. What are you basing that generalization on? Chances are you have no idea what you're talking about and you like to downplay the fact that Vilma is probably smarter than you are. Sit down and shut up please.
