Oh damn, you're right. That's the year Vinny threw like 17 interceptions to the Ravens in the season finale. Win and we were in right?

Why do you guys bother with Jeaux? The guy makes his outlandish predictions, over-values every player on his team, and is gone by midseason once his Raiders are already out of the playoffs.

The only reason to even talk to the guy is to get great ammunition for busting on him next year.

As long as Al Davis is calling the shots and picking flash over substance in the first round, against the wishes of his coaches, the Raiders are going nowhere.

I'm not going to sit here and say the Jets are going far this year, but that's because I try not to make foolish predictions with no basis in reality.

Clearly you are just a little bias towards your team, as many of us are here towards ours, but some of your arguments are quite hypocritical.

    1. This is DBrick's 3rd yr, last year to step up his game to be evaluated as "bust" or not, as oppose to Gallery - 100% bust. As well, you can't honestly say that having Faneca next him won't help his production - Faneca demanding a lot of attention.

    2. Oline is not about individuals but the group work in cohesivesness . Lets see how long it takes Harris (LT most important OL position) to jell with the Oline.

    3. And McFadden doesn't go down on first contact? I have yet to see a clip of him knocking someone over.

    4. Comparing height/weight/40 time is hardly a way to compare players, wouldn't you agree. But it does speak volumes when you look at sacks/hurries etc. How did Trevor Scott do in that department his last 2 yrs of college. If we are comparing stats, how'd he fare in his benchpress? Pace playing at the level he did in his first year at a new position speaks volumes to what his potential is in the 3-4.

    5. I'll agree, our cb situation is nothing to be inspired about, but as you continuously expect Grady Jackson to sign, Poteat should re-sign and he was solid enough. One of Lowery, Miller, Barrett or Woolfork will step there game up hopefully.

Props to your DB's, they looks great on paper, but as you stated with the Oline, hopefully they'll be able to work cohesively with half being new to the team, could take a little while.

    Bottom line is:

    1. You are very optimistic when it comes to the Raiders
    2. Very pessimistic towards the Jets.
That, along with your previous track record of predictions, is why you have no credibility here.

I'd be willing to bet that if you surveyed a panel of "experts" they'd all have the Jets winning more games than the Raiders this year. You can't argue with that I don't think.

I think there's a slim chance that either team makes the playoffs but I'd certainly put my money on the jets before the raiders.

I hope you don't bet on football, if so, you must have lost a ton of money over the past few years.

At least green kool-aid is usually yummy. You know, lime, or maybe a nice tart apple?

What does black kool-aid taste like?

I love how Jeaux is riding the McFadden/Bush cack by labeling them as "accomplished" and "proven franchise backs". Meanwhile, the guy who gave that offense the most spark last year...Fargas...is nowhere mentioned in his idiotic rants.

You a Raiders fan all the way Jeaux...love the glitzy, flashy, speed...and undermine substance and productivity.

By the way, may I suggest you drop giving people ur player's 40 time when you describe them. Nobody really gives a shit. We all know you draft players based on their 40-time and cock-size.

Bite your tongue, sir! I will have you know that this is the level of excellence we have come to expect from our favored Raydah's fan. :)

Just a few snippets throughout history.

All I remember about that game are the two punt returns for TDs that killed us. On the second, my brother-in-law, an incongruous native New Yorker/Steeler fan, obnoxiously waved at the TV and said "Buh bye, Jets! Buh bye, Jets!" Worst Christmas Eve ever. I was 21 years old, drunk, and out of the playoffs, so I got him back by stink palming his chicken, and yes, he was sick on Christmas.

I'm not a mod. But you can't advertise other sites. And you did hijack a thread, a little. I think that's why your post was deleted.

I was only busting your balls about the banning though.

I've moved your post for you. I appreciate that you aren't able to start a new thread just yet, but posting a notice about it in this thread wasn't the way to get around that rule.

    Otherwise, welcome to tgg.com.

I openly did so and said to remove it if I wasn't allowed to. Anyway, it really wasn't advertising a site, more of a football game I thought football fans might like.

Anyway it was removed...didn't mean to ruffle any feathers.

Ok we'll forgive you if you get into camp on time and have at least 10 sacks. Oh and win DROY and make pro bowl or else you will be a bust.

Obviously joe is the reason the banks are having so much trouble these days.

BTW: I find it totally :lol:able to see joe call out anyone else as a homer.
