Yeah, and here's hoping it involves Gholston throwing Jake Long back into Henne's lap, just like old times

Lets all just admit that deep down we know Gholston will look like a manbeast in the eyes of all Jets fans.

Way too much weight is being put on that Bowl game/motor knock. It's simply nowhere near the level some people want to make it seem.

Plus, our coaching staff kicks ass and will kick his ass into kicking ass.

Well said. Just because he doesn't come off as an asshole like Merriman on the field doesn't mean he can't have the same impact. This guy really is perfect for our defense, on the field and off it. I really can't wait for the season to start to watch him tear opposing QBs a new one.

I suspect that ESPN has two articles for every draft pick, one saying it was dumb and the other saying it was great just to have something for everyone to post on their respective message boards to get the site as much traffic as possible.

Maybe the rivalry will spark competition to outperform the other and kick even more ass for the Jets.

Same reason they have 2 'draft experts' who constantly disagree about everything but consensus points.

That's why I never by into people's opinions all that much. The only people I like to listen to are those who coached a player, his teammates, and those he opposed because they will know best what type of player he is in all aspects of the game...

According to Pete Prisco, Vernon is overrated. I guess he should have had 40 sacks last year

If Pete Prisco hates him, he's going to be an all pro.

Maybe ESPN the magazine can convince Gholston to wear a wedding dress on the cover of their next issue.

Tangini wears the dress in their relationship.

They cook and clean while Gholston flexes.
