Jim Herrmann, our LB coach, was Michigan's DC last year when Watson was in school. So, we should have some serious insider knowledge on whether this guy is the real deal or not and what it might take to light a fire under him.

I would take Watson. He is huge and from interviews I have heard on NFL Radio he seems to be working hard all the way thru the ffseason....

One criticism of him is that he tends to lost focus and even looks like he takes plays off sometimes......but if he wants to play alot in the NFL he will have to change that...

Didn't even think about this, but was Hermann also Hobson's DC when he was at Michigan?

Yeah he's got a lot of potential and like Jtuds said he is a bit of an underachiever. During his time at Michigan he was benched I believe for not giving enough effort. But when he's going full force like he was at the Senior Bowl he is very impressive.

I thought it was impressive when Watson went against Mangold. Mangold got the leverage and won that battle. I thought that was interesting.
