He will have plenty of time to hit the weight room before he sees any meaningful playing time. Like the pick. Just need to keep him healthy.
I agree. I'll admit my bias as a Gators fan. However, the Tenn. games were less exciting because he was at QB. It was never a challenge.
Ainge only led his talent depleted team to 3 bowl games, and he was the MVP in the 2008 outback bowl. He was the 2008 Senior Bowl MVP for goodness sakes...Beat out Chad Henne, and Andre Woodson. And he was taught by the same man who mentored Eli in ole Miss, David Cutcliffe.
who knows, i'm not gonna say anything about this guy as I really don't know much about him. good for depth i suppose and who knows, he could wind up being something great.
Lack of quality guys in this year's draft? Or maybe Tannenbaum is eyeing some guys he knows won't get drafted.
I love Ainge at this spot. He's tough (played through a torn ligament in his finger all of his senior year) and had great stats (31 TDs 10 picks) as a senior. 4 year starter at Tennesee. He could compete for the starting job this season IMO.
That seems a little extreme considering how productive he actually was at Tenn....thats if you even believe Tenn. is a joke.
Your dead on! I have seen this kid for years get pounded in the SEC & lose games on bad plays & soft passes. Not a leader.....maybe a a back-up.............D very week pick!!!
