Now that it's pretty much guaranteed that he's a goner.

Can we get a 3rd rounder in 2009 for him.

Heck, maybe we can get back into the 3rd round today by trading him. How about Baker to the Smurfs so they can trade Shockey and we get there 3rd.

I'll be surprised if we get anything below a 6th round pick for him. And thats with optimism.

    I'd be happy with anything.

  6. He's not going anywhere. Keller was drafted as an H-back type...and had little to nothing to do w/ the Baker situation.

We can get a 3rd from a team who needs a TE.

Or get a 5th from NO.

I think that because we drafted Keller & signed Franks, we hurt Baker's trade value. Teams may feel that we're eager/desperate to trade Baker & offer less for him.

A team like Minnesota or Cincinnati could use Baker....Detroit could too.

At this point anything is welcome, He's just been replaced. On a grade Bakers a C+ mainly because he was underutilized and age + skills play a factor. The up-graded model looks a whole whole whole lot better. Say hellow to my lil friend ..............Dustin Keller!

Keller was drafted to fill that H back role that they tried to fill with Posciak (sp?) and Ryan.

5th rounder, we need one anyway. I like Baker, but he talked his way off the team. He is about to find out what he is worth.

  13. Thank you. Keller comes in as an H-back, who provies mis-matches, big play ability and additional depth for the tight end position where he can also play.
