im very surprised the Rams are that divided, and that the organization needs to vote to decide the selection. This tells me they don't think either Long or Dorsey is worthy of the number 2 selection....

I'd argue the opposite that both players are worthy of being taken #2, but they have to decide which direction to move Carriker. If they keep him at DT, they take Long and put Long outside. If they take Dorsey, they move Carriker back outside opposite Little.

I think they took Carriker last year with the intent of keeping him as a rusher, not a DT, but circumstances made them move him inside, so I'll say they take Dorsey in the end.

Even if the Rams do ask their staff individually who they would like, I don't think this is a literal vote (majority rules). If it is majority rules then the whole organization is in danger of leaderless chaos. Kind of the opposite problem from the Raiders.

I hope STL does the right thing and takes Dorsey. That will allow us a shot at Chris Long, assuming Oakland takes DMAC and KC takes Sed Ellis...I'd rather have Chris Long on a bad day than workout warrior Gholston on a good day.

Totally. My hope is Ryan and Dorsey are gone by the time we pick.

Add Gholston and McFadden as well.

So who the hell would we get? As good as Chris Long is, he's not that athletic, and he's not a great fit for our scheme. I'm starting to doubt if I want him.

Exactly! If the opportunity presents itself - trade down.
