Johnny Lam Jones was a Texas WR right? Obviously a reach but I know what your saying. I say the same thing about Michigan offensive players, Penn St RBs and Florida WRs.

based on the poll results, I guess I misunderstood the question. I thought it meant, whats the worst we could do with the sixth pick (worst case scenario)...

    I picked Harvey..

If the Jets like Ryan as much as the rumors suggest then this is easy. If they don't I think the trade down becomes a completely viable option. Either way I hope Ryan is on the board at 6.

For the sake of this poll I'd take Ryan.

Yeah, I think if it really comes down to that the Jets take Ryan or maybe swap picks with the Ravens. Not sure how much more they get for doing that. Not a second for sure.

I voted Harvey, but ask me again in 10 minutes and I'll probably say someone else. It's such a toss-up for me in terms of player and position after the top-tier players that I'm really not sure.

    you never know don.

i was just reading about ryan leaf on yahoo earlier today and they were saying taht the chargers gave up something along the lines of 2 1st rounders and a 2nd to move up the one spot to take leaf. guess it all depends on what they are willing to offer.

granted that was a move from 3 to 2 for the guy they absolutely wanted. from 8 to 6 wouldnt be worth nearly as much in my world but still who knows what it would garner.

i was actually quite surprised at how much they gave up, i really dont recall anyone giving up a ton ton ton like that to move up since the saints gave up everything they had for ricky williams.

    I take Rivers.

Trading down is easier said than done.

If we cant move down and have no other choice heres my top 3

Johnathan Stewart(One of my favorite players in the draft. I think hes going to be awesome and the 2nd best RB in the draft. He'll be like Marshawn Lynch and do sort of what he did for BUF)
    B. Albert(Versatility is wonderful and he'd kick Moore out at RG, no questions asked)
Leodis McKelvin(Ive warmed up to him just a bit, I dont think he'll be a shutdown corner in the league but hed be a just fine No.2 at least).

Just please no Matt Ryan. Hes the one prospect I seriously do not care for this year.

In that case, you have to take McKelvin or trade down.

    Mckelvin would complete the secondary.

Does anyone else have the gut feeling that the F@#$ Patriots are going to trade up ahead of the jets and take Gholston? If this happens you i would take my shutdown corner in Mckelvin, Maybe try to trade down with someone trying to go get Sedrick Ellis, then take Rivers.
