I don't care about anyone but the Jets. I predict 11-5 and the Pats take a big step backwards due to unforeseen injuries (8-8). Yeah, I know, I'm a crazy optimist. But if you can't be optimistic at the start of the season, well, where's the joy in being a fan?
Well, the Pats are almost guaranteed to take a step back. Basically, the only step forward is 19-0. Everything else is a step back. How far? My guess is 10-6. Everyone will be copying the blueprint the Giants gave them. Most won't be able to pull it off, but 6/16 isn't a stretch. Superbowl losers also have a tendency to perform worse than expectations. Jets, I'm hoping 11-5, but I'm thinking 9-7. It really boils down to our running game and d-line. Here's to hoping we draft a couple of defensive studs.
Actually, this was last seasons predictions. I just wanted to show how much I suck at making season predictions.
I actually did fairly well other than the obvious gaffage of predicting the Pats to go 11-5 because they emphasized the wrong thing (wide receivers) in free agency. Silly me. I picked dominant coach from the year before to leave for the second year in a row though (Cowher in 2006 and Billick in 2007.) That's a lot of pressure to find somebody who is going to make a surprising exit this year for a three-peat.
Mark it down The NYJ and the Bills will come down to the wire for the AFC East Division. NE will fall and come unglued. 10-6
I dont know if it will be us V Bills. I do have us going at WORST at WORST 9-7. I see us getting to 11-5. If we can steal a game vrs the Titans and Chargers.
Wow I actually predicted that the Patriots would go 16-0, I got that right but thankfully I got it wrong that they would win the SB.
The closest anyone got to our record was 6-10, so you're in good company. I love being a Jets fan, where else can being so shite be so much fun
