I just set up this autographed pic of the 1977 Jets, high quality scan, set it up so you can download if you like...got it from a friend a few years ago who was was a ballboy back in the day of Klecko, Leahy, Walker, Harper, Todd... a blast from the past!

Suitable for framing, just bring the file to you nearest CVS or wherever.

If anyone can post an attachment here feel free.

Have a Good Friday and God Bless the Jets this year!

That was a few years before my time but it's always nice to see historical memorabilia. Thanks for posting it jets&rush.

In the front row from left, a couple of my favorites...Matt Robinson, Rich Caster (butter fingers Caster), David Knight, Shafer Suggs. That's 3 of my all time favorite JETS!

Caster was able to make the switch from WR to TE. At one point, he was Namath's favorite target.

Walker and Ken Schroy are also in that front row.
Schroy had a decent career as a Jet.

yeah he was Namath's favorite target...and he dropped more touchdown passes then he caught... Caster was moved from TE to WR because he wouldn't even TRY to block. That forced the team to move Jerome Barkum to TE where he became a decent blocker and a really good TE.

Between Caster's drops and Eddie Bell's drops, Namath would have had maybe another 20-25 touchdown passes over a 3 year stretch.

Great pic, was 12 years old back then and I had a lot of terrible Sundays. My whole day would be ruined when they lost but the next Sunday I would still be there in front of the TV believing that they would win.

Couldn't have said it any better myself. I was 14 during that season. I remember being so happy that they hired Walt Michaels because he was a defensive coach and had ties to the '68 championship team.

I was 10 and that was really the first season I can remember. It was all about Richard Todd then and of course Namath to the Rams.

My memories of Caster are of being wide open down field with balls bouncing off his helmet.

Shame on him for his lack of helmet logo velcro. Wait, velcro wasn't invented yet. Right. Man, I was a disgruntled 13 yr. old in 1977. Who can blame me?!

If the Jets had dipped Caster in stickem before each game, he would be in the HOF.
