    Northern NJ is just a suburb of NYC and southern NJ a suburb of Philly. I'm a LI'er and don't have a problem with it. If this helps the team win that's all that really matters. I still think Long Island will still mostly be Jet fans unless the Giants keep doing well and we keep picking in the top 10.

    Not the case with the new stadium. Corporate naming rights for the new stadium could go as high as $25-$30 mil per yr...http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23098043/

    I agree with you that they got hosed for the first 25 years but the new deal is much better for them.

    How do you know what it will be like at the new stadium since it has not even opened yet? One thing for sure it will NOT be named Giants Stadium so that already is a huge step backwards for the NYGs. If NYC would have treated Hess with more respect way back when maybe things could have been worked out between the NYMs & NYJs & the stadium would have been improved negating the NYJs move to the other side of the Hudson River

    so will the giants have there own place? also, different sport but the same situation, can u please tell me were the most glorified team in the nba plays?

    the point about the lakers is they SHARE an arena w/the clippers, do u think there fans give a shit, the've won 3 championships since there joint deal w/the clippers,

    i see sharing a home realy affects wheather you win championships or not

    Nope. The only thing that F'n matters at this point is whether "Super Bowl Champion" is in front of their name.

    I wanted them to move to Manhattan or Queens. It didn't happen. It sucks for me. Ah well.

    Just win a damned championship. I don't care if they're called "The Mighty New Joisey Swamp Hurdlers".

    If we where to drop the NY in front of the Jets Id go with a total makeover then new name new uniform new colors how about the Metro Marauders ;P
